Can We Stop Pretending Republicans Are Fiscally Responsible Yet?

Ok, Republicans have been a majority in Congress now for 11 years. So how's our national checkbook? Let's have a look:

1. All-time high deficit, with no plans to curb spending.
2. A $200 billion, unnecessary war.
3. A wasteful highway bill.
4. Devil-may care plans to rebuild New Orleans.

But hey, Cheney says that "budget deficits don't matter," so it must be okay to squander the largest budget SURPLUS in history. Our children will pay for it. Or if you're my age, I'll pay for it. So don't worry your grey little heads, Republicans have everything under control.
